On board the new MV Bute ferry approaching Rothesay pier. Tried a spot of fishing off there but got nothing. I did get something down at Glencallum Bay, however…

A burial chamber. Thousands of years old.

The ’streaker’ ferries are Juno, Jupiter, and Saturn. They are currently being replaced by newer boats and this is the last summer that they will run the Weymss Bay to Rothesay route.

Summer’s here at last. This is Ettrick Bay with the shipwrecked ‘Co-Worker’.

Another day’s end. You can see the islands of Inchmarnock and Arran faintly in the distance.
